Blublandia and the Surrounding East (The East Candy Kingdom): The TY founders

This is my 'wiki' page on my nation!

~Blublandia and the Surrounding East:

Blublandia and the Surrounding East are 1 of the 3 divisions in the Founding Society. Like the other divisions, this one is unique in it's own ways. This division of the society is ruled by 'The Thing'; she is ruler of the land 'Blublandia' predominantly, but is a leader (if not representative) to the East in which she is still ruling. The East, or 'The East Candy Kingdom' is being inhabited by allied native civilians, that were living in the area before 'The Thing's' ruling of including the island 'Blublandia'. Although, Blublandia and the Surrounding East are allies with the other two divisions, they are not close to the other two divisions. Due to this, many disadvantages arose between debates of Founders; but many positive effects arose as well, balancing out the relations...

"We've always been less closer to the other two divisions, arguably, isolated."~The Thing (Hawser).

"The Duke and The Queen are closer than The Duke and The Thing or The Queen and The Thing."~The Duke (Sisduke)

•Context:

Blublandia is located eastern of the East Candy Kingdom, ironically. It is a large Island, its inhabits are often called 'Blublandians'. Although, they are still in technical terms 'Easterners'. Many who lived in both Blublandia and The East, refer to themselves as 'Blublandian Easterners' - 83% of the population in fact. The ruler, 'The Thing', refers to herself as this too. Aside from the residents, the area itself is very urban. There is a beach (coast) surrounding its perimeter, but the majority of the center consists of a Metropolitan area, similar to that of New York City.

The East, or more formally known as The Eastern Candy Kingdom, is a region of land connected to the other two divisions in the society. Those who reside there, name themselves as 'Easterners'. It is a type of urban-suburban area, it's inhabitants are Natrual-Born Easterners and transfers from both Blublandia and The East (meaning they've lived in both regions). It is a flat-land area rich in minerals and other resources. There is a coast, towards the East facing the 'Eastern Candied Ocean'; quite a popular tourist destination. Many of the top research labs are located here - developing many broad new discoveries to the Founder's Society.

The East and Blublandia have balanced populations; The East is mainly a 'residential' area, while Blublandia is an urban 'working area'. Both areas are livable, and both areas you can make a career. Often there is domestic rivalries between the two, but it is...

"All out of good fun. The other founders and I were like this too..."
~The Thing (Hawser)

•Beliefs: Manifesto

Although both of these lands are separated, they are under the rule of one leader (representative), 'The Thing'; Blublandia is the capital. They are both under similar beliefs.

This division is allied with the other two divisions, however, they can get into arguments with the other two divisions. Majority of the time the conflicts are resolved with a feast between the divisions. Due to the 'isolation' between this division and the others, they are usually the ones to be argued with.
There have been some conflicting debates between the division leaders about the handling of Extreme Weather.
"We believe that it is better not to fear nature, or to outsmart it, but to embrace it for what it is and use it to an advantage. For example: If it were to snow an immense amount, the division would use the snow to power resources that shall benefit our residents. Unlike those who believe that nature should be maintained, we believe that it's best for nature to be released in full force. This can strengthen us, and prepare us for the worst." ~The Thing (Hawser).
This quote supports the division's argument that a 'Bio-Dome' was unnecessary - the other two divisions use a 'Bio-Dome' to control the weather in their division.

Lastly, this division believes in learning from the past to improve the present and future. "From these mistakes that we have created in the past, we use them as a blueprint, to guide us in the right path now and later..."~'The Thing' (Hawser).

•History:

The ruler 'The Thing', informally known as 'Hawser', was originally based in the East. But, opportunities for a stronger division lied in the island beside their region.

At first, many disagreed to her idea, but the thought of becoming the most powerful division over threw the other founders decision to keep Hawser and her civilians in the East. Hawser didn't want power, she didn't want to be overruling her fellow founders with one vote out of three. But, her civilians knew the problems in the division more clearly than she; after many protests and petitions, Hawser agreed to go with her plan, with no positive input from the others.

Once 'Blublandia' had been formed, many left over in the East had been put in 'reservations'. Hawser couldn't keep those left to starve, she wanted them to have just as much positive treatment as those who now reside in Blublandia. After many debates within the nation, hundreds and hundreds of civilians were anxious and disappointed. Hawser had to receive special advice from her fellow founders. It was decided to turn Blublandia and the East into one division, with Blublandia being the capital and The East as another part.

Due to the conflicts that arose from the 'Move', many civilians from 'Blublandia' moved to The East; in order to avoid conflict. Since this was a large 'migration', the populations were evened out. Removing the reservations was another result of this 'migration'.

After many years, the two parts of the Division maintained harmony. But faced minor conflicts along the way.

•Motto:

"We have made the separated, inseparable"

•Overview:

To conclude, Blublandia and the Surrounding East is a united nation, divided by nature (the ocean that stands between them). The population is over 3-4 million (both Blublandia and East combined). Blublandia and the Surrounding East, are 1 of the 3 divisions in the founding society. We stand as one, we fall as one; separating the inseparable...impossibly possible.
